This policy explains how Krishan Kirpa Foundation (“we”, “us”) handles cancellations and refunds for donations made through our website or donor portals (the “Services”). As a charitable organisation, donations are generally non-refundable, except in limited circumstances described below. We do not sell physical goods on this website.
In rare cases, we may review a refund request (at our sole discretion) when:
Please contact us within 7 days of the transaction and include the date, amount, payment method, transaction ID/UTR, and the name/email used while donating.
If a refund is approved, we’ll initiate it to the original payment source only. We aim to process approved refunds within 7–14 working days. Bank or payment-gateway timelines are beyond our control. Where the payment partner does not refund their charges, the refund may be issued net of gateway/bank fees.
You can pause or cancel future charges any time via the donor portal (if available) or by emailing us. Cancellation affects future cycles only. If a charge occurs after you requested cancellation due to processing time, we’ll review it for refund.
If a donation is refunded, any donation receipt (including 80G) becomes invalid. Please destroy the receipt and do not claim any tax benefit. If you have already claimed it, you must inform the relevant authorities and handle any compliance arising from the refund.
In-kind donations (goods) are not returnable. If a pickup or delivery issue occurs, contact us within 48 hours so we can assist.
